An epic tale of murder, corruption and obsession
Three directors are tackling three feature films about “The Yorkshire Ripper,” a name given to Peter Sutcliffe – a man who led authorities on a manhunt between ’74 and ’83.
The films – 1974, 1980, 1983 – are based on three of four books from David Peace’s “Red Riding Quartet.” Julian Jarrold, James Marsh and Anand Tucker are on board to direct and this afternoon we’ve got promo art to share with you.
This three-part endeavor is being produced for the UK’s Channel 4.
