AFM ’08: Saw’s Armstrong Heads to Stone’s Point

Psychic hunts for serial killer

David A. Armstrong, director of photography of the Saw franchise, is sitting at the helm of a thriller all his own in 2009. He’s in pre-production on Stone’s Point (reported around the web under another title: Details) based on a script by Clint Elliot.

Set in Louisiana, the troubled small town of Stone’s Point is thrown into turmoil when the police chief must hunt for a serial killer with the help of a psychic, while trying to avoid coming under suspicion himself.

Chris Sheng and Robert Enriquez are producing for Worldwide Film Entertainment. Armstrong’s work can currently be seen in Saw V, he recently wrapped The Lodger, a remake of the Alfred Hitchcock film.
