Whiteout Now Happens in September

The thriller with Kate Beckinsale

Warner Bros. and Dark Castle’s delayed thrilled Whiteout, based on the graphic novel by Greg Rucka, is expected in theaters on September 11, 2009.

Over the summer, at Comic-Con, one of the film’s producers told us it was ready for an April ’09. Obviously, things have changed.

Whiteout follows Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale), a lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica whose investigation of the continent’s first murder draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is punged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.

Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short and Alex O’Loughlin co-star.
