Splinter‘s the big winner
Another year of Screamfest has come to a end in Hollywood. At last night’s ceremony, Toby Wilkins (interview) cleaned up with his feature Splinter (review). In 2005, he impressed the festival’s panel of judges with the short Staring at the Sun; his latest, a low budget creature feature, nabbed six awards. Meanwhile, Michael Dougherty’s Trick ‘r Treat (review) took home the audience choice award. Without further adieu, here’s the complete list of winners. Congrats to all.
