The director of Frontiere(s), Hitman
Setting his sights on a period thriller, Xavier Gens (Frontiere(s)) is about to embark on Vanikoro.
It’s the story of Jean-François de Galaup, Count of Count of La Pérouse, a French explorer who went missing with his crew in 1788. Gens’ film, according to Filmsactu, supposes the mariner met his fate thanks to cannibals on Vanikoro island. Today, Filmsactu received some pre-production art from the film.
While he preps Vanikoro, Gens is also serving as executive producer on The Horde.
