Trick director’s werewolf series
Michael Dougherty is going to walk with the werewolves in a new television series. The director of Trick ‘r Treat tells Fangoria Radio that he’s in development on Bitches for Fox and Warner Bros. TV.
“It’s about four women living in New York City who are werewolves,” says Dougherty. “It’s Sex & the City with werewolves! They seduce people, then they eat them! The series will answer the questions: how do they feed, where do they work… It’s very funny.”
Shooting begins in 2009. Dougherty says he still doesn’t know when Trick ‘r Treat, his horror anthology, is going to be released by Warner Bros., however, ShockTillYouDrop.com recently learned from one insider that it may go direct-to-DVD now in October of 2009.
