Schut’s screenplay returns
Nicolas Cage and Dominic Sena will re-team for Season of the Witch. The pair previous collaborated on the Gone in Sixty Seconds remake.
Written by Bragi Schut, Season follows 14th century knights transporting a girl they suspect is a witch responsible for the black plague.
The script was originally set up at Columbia Pictures; Sena begins rolling cameras this November in Austria and Hungary for Relativity Media. He also helmed Whiteout, the Kate Beckinsale thriller due in April.
