From the director of Black Sheep
Sam Neill has joined the cast of Jonathan King’s creature feature Under the Mountain, the story of siblings battling shape-shifting creatures beneath a “ring of extinct volcanoes” in Australia. Sophie McBride, Tom Cameron, Leon Wadham and Oliver Driver co-star.
This is King’s first feature since the horror-comedy Black Sheep. He co-penned this adaptation of Maurice Gee’s novel with Matthew Grainger (The Tattoost.
Shooting has already begun and Disney is locked for theatrical distribution in New Zealand. No word yet on U.S. release plans.
