Tickets are still on sale (just locked down mine last night) for a Hollywood screening of David Cronenberg’s The Fly at The Dome (6360 W. Sunset Blvd) on Wednesday, September 3rd. The night starts at 8pm and will be preceded by a Q&A with David Cronenberg and composer Howard Shore! This event is part of the AFI Directors series; full details can be found at the Arclight’s website.
A remake of the 1958 film of the same name, and based on a short story by George Langelaan, Cronenberg cast Jeff Goldblum as a scientist whose experiments go awry and find him transforming into a fly. Geena Davis and John Getz co-star.
