More shooting takes place – why?
Lionsgate’s My Bloody Valentine remake carries the distinct bragging rights of being the first 3-D horror film out of the gate in 2009. Although long wrapped, we have heard a crew stepped behind the camera to lens some extra footage.
The shoot – which occurred recently in the Los Angeles area – entailed a movie theater “full of an audience wearing their 3-D glasses,” says one source involved who didn’t go into further details about what footage was picked up.
We were told this was all specifically done for the upcoming trailer which leads us to presume Lionsgate is cooking up something unique to advertise Valentine‘s massacre. (What do you think they’re up to? Speculate below!)
Opening January 16, 2009, the film is directed by Patrick Lussier and stars Jaime King, Jensen Ackles, Kerr Smith, Edi Gathegi and Kevin Tighe.
