Web-based anthology series
Update: Behind-the-scenes video posted below and it appears actor Michael Madsen will star in the first episode directed by That ’70s Show‘s Wilmer Valderrama.
Video game producer Jace Hall may be shepherding an Internet-based horror anthology endeavor using the Creepshow brand.
According to our scooper, Nicholas, HD Films (operated by Hall) have obtained the rights to Creepshow, a franchise stemming from the 1982 George A. Romero film and five Stephen King short stories. The proposed series under this familiar umbrella will be entitled Creepshow RAW.
Gamers may recognize Hall’s name from titles such as F.E.A.R, Blood II: The Chosen, Condemned: Criminal Origins and Tron 2.0.
Until now, the Creepshow name has been exploited by the Taurus Entertainment Company who produced the 2006 direct-to-DVD dud Creepshow III. We’re working now to confirm Nicholas’ scoop and HD Films’ possible new Creepshow horror project.
