As if things couldn’t get more complicated
IDW Publishing is prepping a two-part comic book prequel to Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. The funny thing is, the third cinematic chapter – directed by Patrick Tatopoulos and featuring some returning cast members – is a prequel in itself. One set in the Dark Ages and before we’re introduced to Kate Beckinsale’s ass in tight latex.
Just how far back does IDW’s prequel go now? We’re not certain, hell, we don’t even have a street date but we suspect you can look for the title around January 23, 2009 – the Lycans debut.
IDW previously published the Underworld movie adaptation and the original series Underworld: Red in Tooth & Claw.
