Out of the many summer screenings Cinespia has held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery over the years, this one is simply…perfect. On Sunday evening, August 10th, the organization is presenting Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm. As they do every weekend, the film will be projected along the side of a giant mausoleum situated towards the back of the cemetery (located at 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard at Gower). The gates open at 7:00pm, the movie follows at 8:30pm. A $10 donation is encouraged. Tall Man lovers – arrive early, bring some food and drink and, for your own sake, watch out for any ladies wearing lavender.
Angus Scrimm, Reggie Bannister, Kat Lester and writer/director Don Coscarelli will introduce the screening! Also, attendees will get a chance to score an advance copy of Anchor Bay’s Phantasm IV DVD.
