No VHS cover titillated us more than the one for Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers for obvious reasons. And we can’t believe 20 years have passed since the sight of Michelle Bauer wielding one mean gas powered wood-cutting tool stirred something in our loins.
Infinity Entertainment Group knows the value in Fred Olen Ray’s ’88 trash classic. On August 5th, they will release a 20th Anniversary Edition of Hookers with director’s commentary, a video featurette, trailers and Nite Owl Theater episodes.
That same day, Infinity is also dropping Morella’s Blood Vision. On the slab: Three classic horror tales hosted by Morella Zombies, The Blood Seekers and Blood Stalkers. And stick around as she shares new episodes of her show Graveyard Theater.
Both titles are presented in 16 x 9 anamorphic widescreen, transferred from 35mm. Special features on Blood Vision include Morella’s show, Graveyard Theater.
