Now available on iTunes
Legendary composer Lalo Schifrin (The Amityville Horror) and Andy Garfield (Hatchet) have collaborated to liven up your Spooks reading experience. The two recently created a rousing, atmospheric soundtrack for the Devil’s Due comic book by Ryan Schifrin (Abominable) and Larry Hama (G.I. Joe). Eight tracks are now available on iTunes (search either “Spooks” under album listing, or, Andy Garfield).
“We always conceived ‘Spooks’ as a big, summer movie and to celebrate the upcoming release of the graphic novel,” says Ryan. “We put together a soundtrack – treating this just as we would a film project. My dad composed original music for it, and it was also a chance for him to collaborate with Andy Garfield, who is a phenomenal up and coming composer, who also created some amazing cues for this. It may be the first time that a graphic novel has had a soundtrack – we’re looking into the possibility of bundling in a CD with the trade paperback when it comes out in July.”
