Snyder-produced zombie actioner
Some may have gotten the impression Zack Snyder was on board to direct Warner Bros.’ Army of the Dead, but as it was clarified in our chat with Deborah Snyder on the set of Watchmen here ,the 300 helmer was only producing the zombie action-thriller.
Variety now reports Matthijs van Heijningen is directing Joby Harold’s script set in a zombie-infested Las Vegas where a father – with the mercenaries he has hired – enters the quarantined city searching for his daughter. Van Heijningen is an award-winning commercial director. Army will mark his feature directorial debut.
