Misery-esque thriller for teens
Combine Misery, Lord of the Flies and Blue Lagoon and what do you get? Apparently a film called Solo, director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego’s English-language debut. Gold Circle Films’ thriller written on spec by David Coggeshall. Peter Safran is co-producing. Plot details are kept under wraps, but its said to be teen thriller similar to the aforementioned films. Lopez-Gallego film King of the Hill was picked up by The Weinstein Co. last September when it screened at the Toronto Int’l Film Festival.
