“Serious” horror film in development
Negating rumors that his production shingle Brooksfilms is closing up shop, Mel Brooks announced he’s developing a new serious horror film entitled Pizzaman. Frequent collaborators Rudy De Luca and Steve Haberman (Dracula: Dead and Loving It) are working with him on the project which is currently in the scripting stage. No plot details have been revealed. Brooksfilms’ past horror credentials include David Cronenberg’s The Fly and it’s follow-up The Fly II.
