Official synopsis revealed
Old Boy helmer Park Chan-Wook is hard at work on a vampire film entitled Thirst (or, Evil Live) which began principal photography recently. KFCC caught a glimpse of some promotional art for the film which cropped up at the Cannes Film Fest (see below).
Here’s the official synopsis from producers CJ Entertainment: Beloved and devoted priest from a small town volunteers for a medical experiment which fails and turns him into a vampire. Physical and psychological changes lead to his affair with a wife of his childhood friend who is repressed and tired of her mundane life. The one-time priest falls deeper in despair and depravity. As things turns for worse, he struggles to maintain what’s left of his humanity.
Song Kang Ho of The Host stars alongside Kim Ok Bin, Mercedes Cabra, Sin Ha-gyoon, and Kim Hae-sook.
