Universal announces July release

Doomsday, director Neil Marshall’s post-apocalyptic action stew, is coming to DVD via Universal Home Entertainment on July 29th. A Blu-ray edition is also being prepped to street that day.
Special features include two cuts of film – an unrated edition (with four minute of extra footage) and the theatrical release – and the following…
· A commentary with director Neil Marshall and actors Sean Pertwee, Darren Morfitt, Rick Warden and Les Simpson
· Anatomy of Catastrophe: Civilization on the Brink featurette
· The Visual Effects and Wizardry of Doomsday featurette
· Devices of Death: Guns, Gadgets and Vehicles of Destruction featurette
On the tech end, expect a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks.
