Writer on remake for Gold Circle
A remake of Christian Alvart’s German psychological serial killer thriller Antibodies is still in development over at Gold Circle Films. Rumblings of an American redux began in February of 2007 with Kevin Waehner reportedly tackling the material. Variety now reports the project is alive and well with music video and documentary producer Sascha Penn adapting. He recently sold a sci-fi/action spec script entitled The Ditch to Warner Bros. In Alvart’s 2005 film, André Hennicke and Wotan Wilke Möhring play killer and cop, respectively, embroiled in a cat and mouse mind game. Dark Sky Films handled Antibodies‘ North American distribution.
