A fresh spin on an old foe
Gente Giant Ltd., one of the leading collectible companies out there, has been dabbling lately with some of cinema’s biggest, baddest bogeymen. They’re producing a great line of busts dedicated to Jason Voorhees, Chop-Top and Leatherface (click the link above for more) – not to mention items from films like The Descent and 30 Days of Night. But what’s even more interesting is that they’ve created a Freddy Krueger statue that breaks the mold and puts a different spin on the countless Krueger figures we’ve seen before.
What you see below (presented at Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors, click on the image for a bigger scan) is arriving later this year from Gentle Giant and it serves as an unsettling reminder of what kind of monster Krueger really is.
