Thriller going direct-to-DVD

MGM Home Entertainment is confirming early reports that David Ellis’ post-Snakes on a Plane effort, Asylum, will debut on DVD Tuesday, July 15th. MGM, via Fox Home Entertainment, has not announced any special features at the time of this writing, but expect a widescreen presentation with English 5.1 Dolby Surround.
Written by Ethan Lawrence (Eureka) and starring Sarah Roemer and Travis Van Winkle, Asylum concerns a group of college students living in a dorm that was formerly a mental hospital. There they are haunted the ghost of a deranged doctor. We’ll update you when cover art and photos are available.
