How apropos: On the day one of Shock’s favorite films of the year – Inside – is released on DVD, we’re alerted to a new project hailing from France. This one is a, as the producers are calling it, “horror sitcom with zombies” entitled Terror Project 6. Overseen by Xavier Gens (Frontiere(s)) and Fabrice du Welz (Calvaire, Vinyan), Terror cobbles together six filmmakers to tell…well, six tales of terror. Lorie contre les Bactéries (English Title: Lorie the Bacteria Slayer)
Directed and Written by François Simard (Bagman : Profession Meurtrier).

Plot: A young French Canadian couple quarrels violently in their lounge while outside proliferates a strange flu epidemic which eat from the inside the patients. Nothing was goriest since Street Trash & Brain Dead (Dead Alive).
Spécialité du Chef (English Title: Chef’s speciality)
Directed by Grégory Sacré, from a story of Côme Peguet.
Plot: A man wakes up chained and hanged by the jaw in a cold room beside other mutilated bodies. He is far from imagining that he will be the element of a delicious asian gourmet named chefâs speciality.
Corps vivants (English Title: Dead Alive)
Directed and Written by Julio Mendez.

Plot: In the glimmer of some lampposts enlighting cemetary entry, a figure appears. It limp, approaches slowly. Except this strange person, the street is deserted. It’s a young lady… A living dead woman…
The Dead Pussy (English Title: The Dead Pussy)

Plot: Audrey and two of her friends flee of the city. Chaos reigns ever all around them, the living dead return to earth. The group of young ladies goes always towards the forest. Armed hunters will try to help them…but the evil gets closer…
Elles (English Title: Them)

From a story of Colin Vettier.
Plot: In a close future, a sexually transmissible disease affects the human race. If all the beings are potential virus carriers, only women develop it. Symptoms are visible and violent : physical degeneration, violent drive and anthropophagy. The French government is thus going to establish a state of emergency and to proceed to the progressive, but systematic, women elimination. XXX is a girl affected by this disease, aware of her condition, she try to survive in this collapsing society.

Plot: A strange virus bring people, recently died, back to life. Epidemic has been checked, society has reconstructed itself and the last victims of the virus were parked in isolation and are used as new French massive weapon. 2014. The quite new extreme right government announces that it supports openly the organization of a real TV show in which a group of prisoners of foreign origins, is used as guinea-pigs to zombies. The one who survives will be exempt from any penalty and will become French.
