Remake of the 1983 slasher flick
TrackingB, a password-protected industry site (so thanks to Erik at Fangoria for catching this one!), reports Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger are penning a remake of House on Sorority Row. Alas, no other key specifics were granted such as the production company or director involved. This writing pair are behind Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3-D remake at Dimension Films (opening in July ’09).
The original Row – which has seen sundry directors like Rolfe Kanefsky flirt with an update – concerns a group of sorority sisters who are paying the ultimate price for a fatal prank they pulled on their house’s owner. Mark Rosman directed.
