Taking a break from Meyer adaptation
ShockTillYouDrop.com was reunited with Twilight star Kellan Lutz (who plays Emmet) last night in Hollywood. He was out on the red carpet supporting his latest horror feature Prom Night in which he co-stars alongside Brittany Snow, Dana Davis and Scott Porter.
Sans his gray garb and the black contact lenses we last saw him in while on the Twilight set in Portland, Oregon, Lutz expressed his excitement with Nelson McCormick’s remake of the ’80s slasher film. “I love Prom Night, it met my expectations and above,” he says. “I actually jumped during this film, and I don’t jump that much. My father is here, so I’m glad to see it with him. Working with the director, cast and crew has been awesome.”
On a tonal level, Lutz adds the film is far different than the one he is on break from. “Twilight is more of a romantic movie, it’s about a relationship between a vampire and a girl. We are not going back [to the production] until the 22nd, which is a bummer because I didn’t pack up my hotel room,” he laughs.
