A psychological thriller at AMC
Director Darren Aronofsky is developing a psychological thriller with AMC.
The series project, “Riverview Towers,” revolves around a family that moves into an apartment building with paranormal activity, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The script is being written by John J. McLaughlin, who wrote Aronofsky’s upcoming film Black Swan, a psychological thriller set in the world of ballet.
Aronofsky is executive producing through his production company, Protozoa. Also serving as executive producers are Eric Watson, Aronofsky’s partner in Protozoa, and Jed Weintrob.
Monster helmer Patty Jenkins is in talks to direct should the project get picked up to pilot, though there is no deal yet.
