Forget about that mama’s boy Voorhees
New Line, or someone on the inside dishing B-D their scoops, is changing their tune.
Last November it sounded like the studio was going to move forward on a sequel to the hit Freddy vs. Jason. Now, according to the site, it appears as if the Freddy Krueger himself is going to be New Line’s sole focus. A lil’ tender care is what he needs. The franchise that helped get the studio on their feet is going to be reinvigorated with a new film actively in development.
B-D’s scooper is vague at best but the gist is this: No “F vs. J 2,” no prequel. Does this spell flat-out remake? Not really sure, but “ideas” are being kicked around.
