Third chapter talks getting serious
Fingers were crossed by all parties involved in The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe with the hope Warner Bros.’ would grant the horror sequel a theatrical run.
Alas, we’ve received official word Warner Premiere is keeping the film’s distribution exclusive to DVD. Look for it mid-summer. Premiere was behind last fall’s Return to House on Haunted Hill, a high-exposure release in and of itself, so expect full “LB 2” advertising saturation from the label.
Insider buzz is high for this one. Sources tell us Warner Bros. execs are very pleased with the way P.J. Pesce’s follow-up has turned out. And yes, as we were the first to tell you in the tail-end of our exclusive story here, a third chapter is now seriously being considered.
