Richard Kelly’s new horror film
Ex-bloodsucker Frank Langella is set to star in Richard Kelly’s post-Southland Tales effort The Box.
Given that the film is based on a woman (in this case, Cameron Diaz) who receives a mysterious box that presents a predicament, the box has to come from somewhere. Well, Langella’s playing the man who offers her said object. The actor has appeared in a wide scope of horror films including the 1979 Dracula, Brainscan and Roman Polanski’s The Ninth Gate (pictured) starring Johnny Depp.
Kelly, who penned The Box based on Richard Matheson’s story “Button, Button,” begins shooting next month.
