Do you got the skills to dodge the kills?
There’s a new book (about pocket-size) on the market called “How to Survive a Horror Movie” (publised by Quirk). Created by Seth Grahame-Smith, this tiny tome – from what I’ve found in my perusal of it – is smartly written, with a caustic voice, and features some dynamic and grotesque illustrations. Tight design, fun to flip through…I’ve gotta go back and pick it up. It’s cheap (another perk)!
As Smith explains in his “How to Survive a Horror Movie” blog, CBS Interactive tossed some cash his way to create a series of webisodes based on the book’s tips. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays now through October 25th, two new episodes of “How to Survive a Horror Movie” will stream online (that’s a total of 6 episodes per week for three weeks – “666,” get it? Do ya?).
Grahame-Smith wrote each episode and co-directed them with David Katzenberg (“Rock Star: INXS,” “Survivor: Panama”). Begin your training right now with the two-step method on “How to Defeat a Killer Doll” (Step 1: Kick the Shit Out of It!).
