New horror series featuring Star Trek vets
Producer Cindi Rice (from the animated series Xombie) is collaborating with a team of others to spearhead a new zombie series entitled Alive.
The premise centers around a band of survivors in a zombie-ridden world. An official show announcement is coming, but in the days leading up to Halloween a series of “public service announcements” are going live at Falcon Rock Command. The first installment is up right now.
Behind the scenes, Alive features writers Gar & Judith Reeves-Stevens (“Star Trek: Enterprise”), Emmy-nominated visual effects artist Michael Okuda (“Star Trek”) and The Chiodo Bros. of Killer Klows from Outer Space fame. The cast includes Gary Graham (“Alien Nation,” “Star Trek: Enterprise”) and John Billingsley (“Star Trek: Enterprise,”
“24,” “The Nine”).
