Based on the best-selling Japanese novel
JT Petty has his next film lined up at Fox Atomic. He recently wrapped The Burrowers for Lionsgate, now he’ll direct Gothic based on the Japanese novel and manga.
Described as a gothic love story, the project revolves around two high school teens from opposite sides of the tracks who are forced to come together to take down a serial killer in their hometown.
Kadokawa, which published the original novel and manga comic, will serve as executive producer on the film.
