The Otis and Sublime director and writer
Director Tony Krantz, who is currently filming Raw Feed’s Otis, will reunite with writer Erik Jendresen for a project titled American Voodoo. The new independent film is fully financed.
American Voodoo, in the vein on The Insider with Russell Crowe, will center on a cult deprogrammer. Krantz added the film will explore the mindset of cult members and what it takes to try and deprogram their commitment to their cause.
Krantz and Jendresen previously teamed-up for horror-thriller Sublime. Shooting began this week on Otis, a revenge tale which concern a cheerleader who is kidnapped by the eponymous creep.
