Sequel to Lucy Liu vampire noir
Bloody-Disgusting got the scoop on Ghost House Pictures’ plans for Rise II, a sequel to the Lucy Liu-starring vampire noir.
The original was directed by Sebastian Gutierrez (interview) and saw a very limited theatrical run through Destination Films earlier this year. It will hit DVD on October 9th.
According to B-D, Ben Ketai is providing the script for the sequel. He penned a series of “Grudge”-related shorts entitled “Tales of the Grudge” and recently wrote the web prequel 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails.
No word on when pre-production will begin or where the sequel’s plot picks up.
