Reeker II Ready to Roll
Writer-director Dave Payne is in pre-production on No Man’s Land: Reeker II, a sequel to his tight indie thriller Reeker starring Arielle Kebbel (The Grudge 2), Michael Ironside and Eric Mabius.
After frustrating distribution delays, the original film is finally seeing a DVD release on September 25th via Showtime and Paramount Home Entertainment.
As for the next installment, Payne has pulled together a cast that includes Valerie Cruz (“Nip/Tuck,” “The Dresden Files”), Desmond Askew (The Hills Have Eyes), Robert Pine (Red Eye), soap hunk Stephen Martines and Mircea Monroe (“Drive”). The story this time revolves around a sheriff and son team pursuing a band of casino robbers. Eventually, they all cross paths with the eponymous death-dealer known nicknamed the Reeker.
Shooting is expected to take place in and around the Los Angeles area. Click on the title above for a look at some promo poster art.
