Hollywood event ends on a horrific note
Say good-bye to the summer with the Pazuzu…
Hollywood’s weekly hipster hot spot for outdoor movies, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery (6000 Santa Monica Boulevard at Gower), is holding its final screening on Saturday, September 15th.
Cinespia, the organizers and horror lovers after my own heart, announced they’re going out with a bang and a splash of pea soup to the face. Beginning at 8:30pm, William Friedkin’s The Exorcist will be projected on the side of the HFC’s massive mausoleum.
Gates open at 7pm, a $10 donation is encouraged.
Friedkin’s classic puts a capper on a terrific summer of Cinespia horror fare. Robert Wise’s The Haunting and Dario Argento’s Suspiria have each appeared on the schedule over the last few months.
