Thriller spices up “classic” sci-fi
Variety is reporting Regency has purchased an action/thriller that “puts a twist on a classic sci-fi theme” called The Darkest Hour.
Fox will distribute with Tom Jacobson (Mission to Mars) producing.
Script comes from writers Leslie Bohem and M.T. Ahern. Bohem’s credits (or skeletons in the closet) include The Horror Show and Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. He’s currently writing “Nine Lives” for Steven Spielberg and the Sci-Fi Channel.
