Comic brings dream team together
There was no greater “he said, she said” horror news story in the last five years than the “Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash” project that ignited web speculation everywhere. Yes, it was something on the burner at New Line, now its cinematic realization is dead. Ka-put. Six feet under, baby.
But all is not lost. News fresh out of the Wizard World Convention in Chicago says that DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment are putting the horror threesome together in a “Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash” six-part mini-series written by James Kuhoric based on a 30-page movie treatment written by former New Line exec Jeff Katz (who’s now at Fox). J. Scott Campbell and Eric Powell will provide the interlocking cover art.
