Id Software game targets big screen
Silent Hill and Beowulf scribe Roger Avary is writing and directing a cinematic adaptation of Id Software’s supernatural actioner Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
The game places you in the shoes of a soldier ordered to go behind the walls of Castle Wolfenstein where members of the SS are tinkering with ungodly, paranormal experiments (such as that mean mutha’ on the right).
Producer Samuel Hadida (Silent Hill, Resident Evil: Extinction) picked up the rights to “Wolfenstein” out of turnaround after they languished with Mark Gordon at Sony.
