Actors suffer Shyamalan’s disaster
Mark Wahlberg’s got a new best bud in M. Night Shyamalan’s horror pic The Happening. (I say “horror” because the director recently bragged how terrifying his “R-rated” effort is going to be.)
Actor John Leguizamo (Land of the Dead) will join Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel playing the former’s best friend. Altogether they try to cope with a natural disaster brings about the end of the world. 15-year-old Spencer Breslin (The Kid) has also signed on board.
Shyamalan begins shooting next month in Philadelphia (natch) aiming for a Friday the 13th release date in June 2008.
