Slasher film rescued for theatrical run?
No real suprirse here when we learned Dimension had dropped All the Boys Love Mandy Lane a week out from its expected release (it was due the 20th of this month). A casualty of an expiring option agreement? Disinterest?
We don’t know for sure, but Jeffrey Wells at Hollywood Elsewhere says German outfit Senator Entertainment picked the picture up from Dimension for theatrical distribution. Who his source is is unknown because he doesn’t cite one. Nevertheless, Wells reports home video distro has been delegated to Dimension Films.
Meanwhile, at the official MySpace Page for “Mandy Lane, an update states the film “will be in theaters at a later date!”
