Begins shooting in August
Although 2007 began on a sour note for Platinum Dunes, the company who gave us The Hitcher had reason to celebrate as it kick-started its first original feature Horsemen, starring Dennis Quaid. Seems they got a taste for it because, according to Film Jerk, they’re prepping another non-remake entitled Half to Death.
The logline goes something like this: “A young college freshman named Teresa is troubled when she discovers she is living the same day over and over again, one that starts out innocently enough but always ends with her brutal murder by an unknown attacker.”
Rogue Pictures is in line to distribute, continuing the relationship they have with Platinum, Finnish director Antii Jokinen will make his feature debut and Scott Lobdell, a Marvel comic vet, is writing.
