Boll finds home at Freestyle
Labeled as the “Ed Wood of our time” (shouldn’t the “talent” behind Creepshow 3 and Day of the Dead: Contagion take that trophy?), Uwe Boll can sure secure a solid deal, even if he has knocked out some of the genre’s finest.
The good doctor has found a home for his next three flicks at Freestyle Releasing – the company that recently acquired D-War (here).
Part of that distribution package includes the big push to get In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale into theaters, but it also bodes well for Boll’s violent comedy Postal and the straight-up horror movie Seed, the former of which will be released on September 28th. Seed opens early next year.
