Terror Awaits at Mile Zero

Van Looy directs Alaskan horror flic



Phoenix Pictures is putting a deep freeze on horror in their Alaska-set Mile Zero. Pic concerns a woman who heads to an oil drilling station where a terrible murder had happened to decades back. Out to erase the notion that her mother was responsible for the deaths, she discovers a supernatural force lying in wait.

Holly Brix, former assistant to Mario Kassar (of the “Terminator” series), penned the script and Belgian director Erik van Looy is at the helm. Phoenix’s Mike Medavoy, Arnold Messer and Brad Fischer are producing.
