Giglio’s macabre mountain madness
The hills are still very much alive with the sound of screaming. Timber Falls is the latest horror flick to back that up. It’s a new film this writer reported some time back at Fangoria and have been curious about ever since. Twitch Film helped spice up my inquisitiveness with a photo gallery (click the Twitch link above) from Tony Giglio’s film.
Loosely walking right in line with themes presented in this year’s The Hills Have Eyes 2 (but hopefully done better), Daniel Kay’s script details the account of a backpacking couple who are kidnapped by a cult fixin’ to conceive a child. Josh Randall (“Scrubs”), Brianna Brown (Night of the Living Dead 3D), Nick Searcy (The Dead Girl) and Beth Broderick (“Lost”) are all caught up in this foul and devilish premise. Freestyle Releasing (An American Haunting) have the US distro rights, so perhaps we’ll be seeing this one by year’s end!
