Dread Central is reporting actor Eric Balfour (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ’03) has joined the cast of Larry Bishop’s ode to ’70s motorcycle grindhouse fare Hell Ride, a film that Quentin Tarantino will present. Bishop’s participation is threefold as he’ll be directing, writing and starring in the leading role, Pistolero, a biker seeking revenge for the death of his woman. Along for the ride are Comanche (Balfour) and The Gent (Michael Madsen) and altogether they set out to find the 666ers, a satanic biker gang who is the target of Pistolero’s vengeance. Although not set in stone, DC adds the producers are after Vinnie Jones (Midnight Meat Train) and Dennis Hopper (Easy Rider) for roles as well.
