In the Earth is expected to deliver a timely story set in a world that searches for a cure to a disastrous virus as a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.
The English filmmaker is no stranger to the horror genre as he was first known for his breakout works on psychological horror films such as Kill List and A Field in England.
The horror film will star Joel Fry (Yesterday, Game of Thrones), Ellora Torchia (The Split, Midsommar), Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake), and BAFTA Award Winner Reece Shearsmith (Inside No. 9, Psychoville).
