According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, actor Wings Hauser’s death was confirmed by his daughter, Bright, in a recent statement.
Bright revealed that Wings passed away on Saturday, March 15, surrounded by his family at his Santa Monica home. He had reportedly struggled with COPD for years. She further confirmed that in his last days, Wings had to rely on an oxygen tank to breathe properly.
Following Wings Hauser’s death, his wife Cali Lili Hauser posted a statement on her Instagram account. The post shares an image of her and Wings and wrote about his dedication to the entertainment industry. It states, “Movie icon Wings Hauser took flight in the arms of his film & music partner, Cali Lili Hauser at their studio this weekend. Born in Hollywood, proud Academy member and prouder son of Academy Award winning writer, director, producer Dwight A. Hauser and loving mother Geraldine T.
