The Instagram photo indicated that they were attending a party. Thus, it can be assumed that was when they met. In the photo, which is the fifth in a series of photos, Sandoval, who sported red hair, could be seen embracing the singer, who was clad in a dark green leather blazer, from the back.
The stylist then continued to document her friendship with Carpenter in subsequent months and years. In April 2022, the two also attended Coachella together, where they could be seen jamming together at a concert. Then one year later, Sandoval attended a concert of Carpenter’s, where she recorded her doing a rendition of late singer Selena’s “Dreaming of You.”

Then on September 26, 2024, Paloma Sandoval again attended one of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour shows. Here, she recorded the singer as she sang on stage, singing and dancing.
Then one month later, the two friends were seen hanging out on a production set with their dogs. Additionally, Sandoval is reportedly the inspiration behind the singer’s 2024 song, “Bed Chem, ” from her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet.
Sandoval, who is Mexican-American, has a decent following of 39.1k on her Instagram page. In an interview with Instagram, Sandoval revealed that she hosted impromptu talent shows via Instagram Live. “I’m such a positive beam on the body-positive topic,” she said. Here, Sandoval also noted that while she is a “big girl” and is “plus-size,” her stature has not been ingrained in her identity.
